Hi I’m Tuğba (with a silent ‘g’)
I’m a London based UX Designer and a former Solution Architect & Developer.
During my studies in Computer Science, I’ve made a lot of cool projects on graphics programming, image processing, mobile / desktop games, 3D interactive virtual environments and visual design. I loved exploring areas where art meets computing and where people connect with technology through interactive experiences.
For over 10 years in delivering complex software solutions to communication providers, I saw adopting a user centred approach has become critical to the success of software in the enterprise.
So I rolled up my sleeves and studied UX. Since then, I have been researching and designing solutions for clients including ITV, BBC, Facebook, Discovery Channel and BBFC.
My technical background translates into my UX work as a deep understanding of how products are built, how projects are run and what is logical and feasible to implement. Understanding algorithms and databases enables me to find the most efficient solutions to complex problems. In UX projects I often dive into functional solution design space to spot and work around potential tech capability risks. By closing the communication gap, I help move projects more efficiently.
